I completed my PhD at Texas Tech University in Medieval Literature with additional concentrations in Digital Humanities and History of the Book in spring 2019. I will begin teaching English at the University of Alabama in Fall 2019.
Current research interests include codicology, twelfth century receptions of natural phenomena, ecocritical approaches to space in Middle English romances, chorography and the spatial turn, and depictions of miracles and wonders in the works of Gerald of Wales as well as other twelfth and thirteenth-century writers along the Welsh Marches.
